The Cookie/Rosa HS and College Helmet Collection

My dad, Raymond Johnson Sr, was a head football coach at Belle Rose Middle in Belle Rose, LA for 26 years until his retirement in 1997. His teams collected numerous season and jamboree championships. In 1991 and 1992, not a single point was scored against his football teams. After his death in May 1999, I decided to do a room in memory of him (and it's still going!). This website consists of high school and college football helmets I've collected (and painted myself) over the years. Thanks to all the football coaches, athletic directors, principals, and college presidents that have helped this museum become a reality. I also couldn't have done it without my biggest supporter, my mom, Rosa H. Johnson ( March 30, 1934- May 26, 2010). Enjoy the pictures!
